According to Grinding Gear Games, they’re working hard on the 0.2.0 content update -- and it may be released in one month!

Thank goodness they’re still keep working on it! Do you think the new content will be released on time? But here’s another piece of news--

Grinding Gear Games has officially announced that Path of Exile 2 will launch its global racing series on March 2, 2025 PST.

These races will be open to PC and Console with a shared prize pool. The winners of every class from each round of races will get unique item Demigod’s Virtue. After the final race, the fastest player will also receive a special prize: a custom-decaled Alienware m16 R2 gaming laptop!

Now let’s have a look at the details:

Race Event Schedule

The race series consists of three standalone events:

Race 1: March 2 11AM PST

Race 2: March 9 12PM PDT

Race 3: March 16 12PM PDT

Tips1: Please check your timezone settings and confirm the correspond local time.

Tips2: Join early to avoid missing the start because the races will start simultaneously for all players.

Key Rules

-- In each race, participants will compete to be the first to kill Doryani in Act 3 within a Standard Solo Self-Found fixed layout environment. (Solo Self-Found (SSF) means players cannot rely on trading with others, making the challenge even more intense).

-- It’s important to note that this event is a Standard (not Hardcord) event; however, players will incur a penalty upon death: If a player dies, they will not be able to move for a full minute before they can continue their progress.

Class-Specific Reward and Special Prize

One of the most exciting aspects of these races is the introduction of the Demigod's Virtue Unique item. This prize will be awarded to the top placement in each class, with six winners per race—one for each of the following classes:

·-- Sorceress

·-- Witch

·-- Monk

·-- Warrior

·-- Mercenary

These prizes will not only serve as a symbol of achievement but will also carry substantial in-game value. Future races will feature other Demigod items as prizes, and over time, the complete Demigod armor set, including weaponry, will become available.

For the final race on March 16th, the fastest player will also receive a special prize: a custom-decaled Alienware m16 R2 gaming laptop, powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU.

Participation Guidelines

If you want to join the event, just follow the steps behind:

- Click "Join Event" in character selection interface

- Create a new character pre-race

- Characters remain locked until event start for fairness

Tips1: Players must adhere to the Path of Exile Terms of Use, and any inappropriate character names will lead to disqualification.

Tips2: Grinding Gear Games staff, as well as participants who have engaged in Alpha Testing related to the event content, are excluded from winning prizes.

Viewing Channels

Official Twitch channels will broadcast all events with live commentary by renowned streamers ZiggyD and RaizQT at twitch.tv/pathofexile. Multi-perspective co-streaming is encouraged as well!
