Path of Exile 3.25 Expansion: The Settlers of Kalguur Launches July 26th

Time flies by so fast, and it has already been four months since the release of the expansion Necropolis, for the popular ARPG game Path of Exile. Some players may have already tried many builds and keep waiting for new league.

 

Good news for us: Developer Grinding Gear Games (GGG) is ready to launch the next league - Path of Exile: The Settlers of Kulguur. This league will be simultaneously released on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC platforms on July 26th.

 

 

Livestream Event Teaser

I predict that this event is similar to the past, GGG will host a livestream event at 1 PM Pacific Time on July 18th before the official launch of the league. During this event, players will learn all about the new league's details, including new features, content, seasonal mechanics, and any balance or quality-of-life updates.

 

Trailer and QOL Update

According to the brief trailer released, we can see Faustus, currently a fence character in Port of Shadows in the game, playing a significant role in exchanging Rogue Markers. In the trailer, we can see Faustus boards a ship with a developing settlement in the background. There are sheep grazing on the land and a turning windmill. We can only obtain limited information, as no further details were disclosed.

 

One of the revealed Quality-of-Life (QOL) updates is that reserved effects like Heralds and Auras will now persist after death. This long-requested feature will save your time from having to reapply all like Heralds and Auras after dying, thereby enhancing the gaming experience.

 

Guesses on New League Mechanisms

Although GGG has not fully revealed the specific mechanisms of the new league, some clues in the trailer have sparked speculation among players. The appearance of Faustus brings to mind the existing Rogue Alliance mechanism, while the settlement background shown in the trailer might suggest that players will be responsible for developing new lands in the new league. This could potentially involve using PoE currency to establish and expand their territories within the game. The new settlement development mechanism could involve more building and management elements, similar to gameplay in other settlement games.
