For those eager to delve into this mysterious region, the journey begins at the lower reaches of the Shadow Keep, specifically within the church district. This guide will illuminate the path to the Scadutree Chalice, leading adventurers step by step through the maze of shadows and secrets.

 

 

To reach the Scadutree Chalice in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, your first challenge is to overcome Commander Gaius, who stands guard after the Shadow Keep's Back Gate Site of Grace. Once victorious, make your way through the northwest gate that leads towards the imposing arced structure before the Scadutree itself.

 

Venture through the archway within this grand structure, and you'll discover the Scadutree Chalice laying ahead, bearing five Scadutree Fragments waiting to be harvested.

 

However, reaching the Scadutree Chalice is no simple trek; it involves navigating through a series of concealed entries and optional zones that test both skill and resolve.

 

How to Get to the Scadutree Chalice?

Begin your quest at the Church District Entrance Site of Grace. Head westward and leap forward, following the contours of the rooftops. Jump across to the rock platform that runs along the side of the Shadow Keep wall. From here, make another airborne leap to a rooftop where a Fire Knight awaits in battle readiness. Engage and defeat him, then proceed southward, jumping toward the railing that stretches ahead. This railing will usher you toward a gap in the rooftop. Plunge through this aperture to land on a stone archway below.

 

Proceed directly ahead and drop down to confront another Fire Knight. Should your desire be to reduce the water level, veer left after your skirmish with the Knight. Returning to the main pathway, pass by the Knights location and take a second left turn before encountering yet another Fire Knight. This altered route will lead you to an elevator that transports you to the Storehouse Back Section Site of Grace.

 

From this new vantage point of grace, head towards the ladder and ascend it. Navigate right past the Fire Knight, ascend the nearby staircase, and veer right into the bookshelves area. Leap out from a hole in the wall and trace the path that leads to the Storehouse, Loft Site of Grace.

 

 

Now, from the Storehouse, Loft Site of Grace, ascend the lift. At the top, turn left, then left again, and finally right to uncover a ladder. Ascend the ladder, edge right, and eliminate the bat obstructing your passage. Hop onto the adjacent beam and descend the ladder ahead. Continue down a second ladder and cross the threshold to activate another lift. This mechanism will carry you down to an elevator that brings you to the Shadow Keep's Back Gate Site of Grace.

 

Before you stretches the boss gate for Commander Gaius, you need to gear yourself well and enough Elden Ring Runes to replace your weapons. Overcome him and summon your loyal mount, Torrent. Ride northwest through the opened doorway, keeping an eye out for a Shack to your left. Select the path to the right to reach the Scadutree Chalice.
