When you use your Life or Mana Flask, 20% of its recovery will be instantly applied. Additionally, this effect enhances the power of your equipped ring, making it much more effective, no matter what type of ring you're using. These effects make the Ingenuity Utility Belt highly versatile and beneficial for nearly any build.

 

How to Obtain the Ingenuity Utility Belt

The Ingenuity Utility Belt is very useful, but the path to obtaining it is not easy. The Ingenuity Utility Belt drops exclusively from King in the Mists, a tough endgame boss. That means, you have to defeat the boss to gain this belt.

 

To fight this boss, you first need to acquire an item called An Audience with the King, which is required to access the battle. An Audience with the King is not something you can simply buy or obtain casually. It is a rare item that can be acquired in two ways:

 

- Trading or Currency Exchange: You can trade Divine Orbs with other players to get An Audience with the King. The price is typically between 4 to 7 Divine Orbs, depending on market demand. You can use Orbs to exchange Ingenuity Utility Belt as well, however, you’ll need to spend more orbs exchanging one.

 

- Ritual Maps: The item can also appear as a Ritual Favor in Ritual maps. These maps cost between 2,900 to 3,700 Tribute to complete, which is a significant amount of currency. If you cannot afford it right away, you can defer it in the Altar of Favors menu, ensuring it will appear in future Ritual maps at a lower cost. It typically takes 1-4 Ritual maps to get it if you defer.

 

Defeating King in the Mist

Once you have An Audience with the King, head to the Realmgate and use the item to enter The Crux of Nothingness, where the King in the Mists awaits. The fight against the King is difficult, consisting of two phases:

 

Phase 1: Destroy the totems he spawns quickly to avoid taking continuous damage. The boss will teleport and spawn enemies, which you must also defeat swiftly to stay alive. When his health drops to 25%, you will be teleported to a maze. Follow the floating lights to progress to Phase 2.

  

Phase 2: In this phase, the King becomes more aggressive, focusing on AOE attacks, including tornadoes that can break your armor. Be careful to avoid these, as well as the frogs and explosive purple blocks he summons.

Defeating King in the Mists grants you a chance to obtain one of five unique items:

If you prefer to skip the grind and have enough currency to spare, you can buy the Ingenuity Utility Belt directly from the official PoE 2 trade site. The price typically ranges from 15 to 50 Divine Orbs, depending on the belt's rolls. While this is a far more expensive option, it may be worth it for players who have abundant currency and want to avoid the hassle of farming.

 

Can You Get the Belt with Orb of Chance?

Unfortunately, no. The Ingenuity Utility Belt cannot be obtained through regular means such as Orb of Chance or from monster drops. It is exclusive to the King in the Mists endgame boss, so your only options are either farming it through the boss or purchasing it from another player.
