Here, interact with the Ancient Seal, a barrier keeping Balbala imprisoned. Removing the three Runic Seals will immediately trigger the fight, so prepare beforehand. Stock up on health and mana potions, spend some POE 2 Exalted Orbs to make the rarity of your current gear higher and add an affix to make it easier to fight Balbala.

 

How To Defeat Balbala, The Traitor

The fight with Balbala takes place in a small and claustrophobic arena, making positioning crucial. Her combat style revolves around swift teleportation and dagger-based attacks that punish static players. 1. Summon Spirit  

Balbala will summon a Spirit of Balbala by dropping a coin into the arena. The Spirit can be defeated quickly due to its low health, but it will revive after a few seconds unless you intercept its coin form.  

 

Run through the hovering coin to prevent revival. However, doing so Balbala will teleport to you and slam the rune, causing high fire damage. Use dodge rolls to escape her attack while intercepting the coin.

 

2. Dagger Toss  

Balbala teleports multiple times, summoning yellow daggers that spin and shoot rapidly towards you. Observe the timing and trajectory of the daggers. A well-timed dodge roll will help you evade them.

 

3. Poison Seep  

A poison cloud seeps from the arena’s center, expanding to cover the entire area. At the same, Balbala hides in the poison and continues her attacks. You need to run along with the arena's edge and quickly locate her. Once found, be ready to dodge her grenade attack. Avoid the grenade’s explosion by positioning yourself carefully.

 

4. Ascending Daggers  

Balbala throws three waves of yellow daggers that embed in the ground. After a while, they ascend, dealing damage to anything directly beneath them. Stay alert for dagger placement and move out of their flight path to avoid taking damage.

 

5. Spinning Glaives  

These Glaives will spin around Balbala, dealing continuous damage where they spin. After a second, they return to the boss and cause damage along the path. Keep your distance to avoid initial damage and reposition to dodge the glaives' return path.

 

6. Poisoned Daggers  

Balbala will hurl multiple poison-inflicting daggers at you, dealing damage over time. Dodge repeatedly to avoid the barrage, and use potions to mitigate poison damage if hit.
