Leveling your Amazon in Diablo 2: Resurrected from Act 4 Nightmare (NM) to Act 5 Hell (H) can be streamlined by focusing on efficient skill allocation, gear, and gameplay strategies. This guide assumes you will respec at level 75. Here’s a detailed guide to help you through this journey.
Act 4 Nightmare
Skills
By this stage, your skill points should be allocated in a way that maximizes your damage and survivability:
Javelin and Spear Skills: Max the Lightning Fury skill points and the Charged Strike skill points.
Passive and Magic Skills:
Valkyrie should be allocated 1-5 points to summon a powerful ally into battle.
Penetrate should also be assigned 1-5 points to increase the attack rating, allowing for more consistent damage dealing against a variety of enemies.
Pierce should receive 1-5 points as well, giving the character a chance to pierce through targets and potentially hit multiple enemies at once.
Bow and Crossbow Skills: If you occasionally use a bow, you’d better to add 1point to Guided Arrow.
Gear
Weapon: Titan's Revenge (unique javelin) or any good rare javelin with high damage and bonuses to skills.
Shield: Tiamat's Rebuke (unique shield) or a shield with resistances and +skills.
Armor: Smoke (Nef + Lum) for resistances or Skin of the Vipermagi for +skills and resistances.
Helm: Valkyrie Wing or a rare circlet with +skills.
Gloves: Rare or crafted gloves with +Javelin skills and Increased Attack Speed (IAS).
Boots: War Traveler or Aldur's Advance for resistances and stats.
Belt: Razortail (for pierce) or Thundergod's Vigor (for lightning skills).
Rings: Rare rings with resistances and life/mana leech.
Amulet: Mara's Kaleidoscope or a rare amulet with +skills and resistances.
Strategy
Use Charged Strike for single targets and bosses.
Use Lightning Fury for groups of enemies.
Cast Valkyrie to tank and distract enemies.
Keep your resistances high, especially lightning and fire.
Use Pierce to maximize the effectiveness of Lightning Fury.
Act 5 Nightmare
Continue the same strategies and gear. Make sure to complete all quests for extra skill points and resistances. In this process, we may need a large amount of recovery and mana potions to ensure our survival ability. Once we die, we will lose experience points. If the corpse is not retrieved, we will not be able to fully recover the lost experience points. Including precious diablo 2 runes and gear.
Act 1 Hell
Respec (at level 75)
Javelin and Spear Skills: Prioritizing the maximization of Lightning Fury and the Charged Strike. Any remaining skill points can then be allocated to Power Strike, enhancing the overall offensive capabilities of the character.
Passive and Magic Skills:
Allocating 5-10 points to Valkyrie is advisable due to its strength as a summon, providing a formidable ally in battle.
Pierce should be maximized to enhance the effectiveness of Lightning Fury, making it an essential skill for area damage.
Additionally, distributing 1-5 points each to Critical Strike, Dodge, Avoid, and Evade can improve the character's overall combat performance by increasing the chance of landing critical hits and improving evasive capabilities.
Investing 5-10 points in Penetrate is also recommended to boost attack penetration, further enhancing the damage output against enemies with defenses.
Bow and Crossbow Skills: If you use neither of them, focus entirely on Javelin skills.
Gear
Weapon: Upgraded Titan's Revenge or Ethereal Titan's Revenge.
Shield: Spirit (Tal + Thul + Ort + Amn) in a monarch shield for +skills, resistances, and faster cast rate.
Armor: Chains of Honor (Dol + Um + Ber + Ist) for +skills and massive resistances.
Helm: Griffon's Eye (for lightning skills) or Shako (for +skills and life/mana).
Gloves: Rare/crafted gloves with +Javelin skills and IAS.
Boots: War Traveler or Aldur's Advance.
Belt: Thundergod's Vigor.
Rings: Stone of Jordan or Bul-Kathos' Wedding Band for +skills and mana.
Amulet: Mara's Kaleidoscope or a +3 Javelin skills amulet.
Strategy
Lightning Fury for groups.
Charged Strike for bosses and high HP targets.
Keep Valkyrie up to tank.
Maintain high resistances.
Utilize Pierce to ensure your Lightning Fury hits multiple targets.
Use Slow Missiles in dangerous ranged fights.
Act 2-5 Hell
Follow the same strategies as Act 1 Hell. Focus on completing quests for stat points, skill points, and resistances. Pay special attention to gearing up with items that boost your damage, resistances, and survivability.
General Tips
Firstly, keep a stash of gear that you can swap depending on the situation, especially resistance gear.
Then, use charms to boost your resistances, life, and skills.
Finally, join multiplayer games to level faster if you're comfortable with the increased difficulty.
By level 75, you should be well-prepared to face the challenges of Hell difficulty. Focus on perfecting your gear, refining your strategy, and collaborating with other players if possible. I hope this guide can help you in your game. Good luck!
